About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join a leading precision forging and manufacturing business in Sheffield. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a modern engineering environment, maintaining specialist machinery and supporting continuous improvements across the production facility.
You will play a key role in ensuring equipment operates safely, efficiently and reliably, working alongside an experienced engineering and production team.
Key Responsibilities

Carry out planned preventative maintenance across manufacturing equipment.

Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults.

Respond to breakdowns and minimise production downtime.

Maintain accurate servicing and maintenance records.

Support continuous improvement and equipment upgrades.

Ensure compliance with health and safety procedures.
Skills and Experience
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial maintenance, preferably within a manufacturing or heavy engineering environment.

Previous experience as a Maintenance Engineer or similar.

Relevant mechanical or electrical engineering qualifications.

Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics and industrial machinery.

Strong fault-finding and problem-solving abilities.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Salary and Benefits
Salary: £40,000 to £50,000 per annum, depending on experience.
Location: Sheffield, South Yorkshire.
Contract: Permanent, full-time.
